| Origin and cultivation method |


Akoya pearls mainly come from Japan and are seawater cultured pearls. The commonly used oyster species is Pinctada fucata. During the cultivation process, the bead nucleus and a small piece of shell tissue are implanted into the oyster. As the oyster secretes nacre, it is gradually covered and eventually forms a pearl.

· Size and color: The diameter is usually between 3 and 9 mm. The main color is white or cream. Some pearls may have subtle pink or silver tones.
