How much deposit do I need to buy a property in Spain?

For your second residence and as a non-fiscal resident, a bank will finance no more than 70 % of the value of your property. This means that you would need to invest at least 45% of the property value with your own pocket.

Do I need a Spanish bank account to buy a property in Spain?

Yes, in order to buy a property in Spain, you need a bank account. You need as well a NIE (tax number).
